United Nations of Craft

07 Apr 2019

Yesterday I got to host our craft club in our flat, it was very nice as we don't have guests that often. Everyone brought their own crafts, but before we took out or crochet and knitting needles I had prepared some vegan lentil stew and a side salad for lunch. I made the stew in our slow cooker, the perfect dish when you want to cook alot of food without putting in too much effort.

Katie from Canada and Roxana from Romania. They live in Greenwich so drove for 1,5 hours to come visit me in Surbiton.

Me (from Sweden!) and my friend of 3 years, Aurelia from France.

Then it was time to break out the coffee and sweets! I had prepared alot of cookies, cakes and sweets, some with an Easter theme like the hot cross buns and the choclate eggs. We ended up with lots of left overs but better to have too much than too little! Here with Fed from the UK.

Roxana finally finished her headband that she has been working on since last November! I think it looks super cute and very professional.

I revived one of my projects that I started early last year. It is not unusal for me to start something and then stop halfway through, only to pick it up again 6-12 months later. This is my original doll pattern, not sure yet what animal it will turn into. I love working with this yarn, it is hand died organic cottorn so the different stripes and colours just come out the more I crochet. I will be sure to post again when it is finished but don't hold your breath!

Our craft club usually meets in the beggining of every month, I look forward to the next one!

Please write me something nice (^∇^)
