The Bathroom

31 May 2019

It's time for part 4 of the flat tour, the bathroom! The bathroom is right in front of you when you enter the flat, and it is very, very small. But is has everything you need in a bathroom, and you actually don't spend that much time in a bathroom anyway so it's not something that has bothered us very much. It definitely feels bigger because of the window and the mirror over the bathtub. (Personally I wouldn't put a mirror on the wall next to the shower, since it always gets wet and water stained, but hey, someone thought it would be a good idea.)

The only storage provided is the wooden cabinet on the wall, but the wide window sill adds a lot of extra space for the essentials. I made this basket to keep our facial wash and scrubs together and not spread out everywhere. The ivy has grown some really long tendrils. Ivy is definitely one of my favorite plants.

Not a lot of storage in the cabinet but then we don't need that much. I don't have a lot of makeup so I can fit everything in the little acrylic box attached to the inside of the cabinet door.

If I were to describe our bathroom in three words I would say turquoise, bamboo and plants! The plant on top of the toilet is an aloe vera and there is another ivy on top of the cabinet. The small one is a snake plant I think.

My complete dry shampoo bottle collection. I can't help but keep them, the patterns are so pretty! Whenever I go to the drug store I always check if there are any new patterns/fragrances in stock. The actual smell is less important, but the yellow tropical one is my favorite to use.

You can find part 1, The Hallway, here, part 2, The Kitchen, here and part 3, The Living Room, here, or just click the Home category on the right. Soon I will post the last room in this series, the bedroom. Saving the best for last!
